Dijet mass

27th Feb 2001 - talk on D0 RunII Qcd Meeting (Feb 15, 2001)
    - studies made on ntuples root_QCDpt20.0_mb*.root - QCD sample with ptmin=20GeV and ptmin=160GeV, 9000 events with 1.1 minimum bias in average, 9000 events with 4.0 minimum bias in average
    - Tables:
        - pt>20GeV, min. bias 1.1, dijet_central.ps.gz
        - pt>20GeV, min. bias 4.0, dijet_cntr_mb4.0.ps.gz
        - pt>160GeV, min. bias 1.1, dijet_c_pt160_mb1.1.ps.gz
        - pt>160GeV, min. bias 4.0, dijet_c_pt160_mb4.0.ps.gz
    - Summary:
        - Results from low PT samples suggest, that no energy cut on energy of calorimetr tower is the worst solution for Cone and Kt algorithms (for KT it is event critical not use this option), especially in case of 4.0 minimum bias overlay. The differnecies between the other choices (positive cut, 50MeV cut, 100MeV cut) are quite small
        - The differencies for various energy tower cuts are smeared out for high pT jets
        - Cone algorithms give significantly better resolution on dijet mass then kT algorithms, although the difference is smeared out for high pT jets
